  • Cason Thorsby


    Cason Thorsby is a serial entrepreneur having started several companies in the CPG space. During his stint in CPG he raised several million dollars in venture capital growing his companies to $10mm+ in revenue through domestic and international distribution channels, then sold those brands to his distributors. Cason also started and grew a luxury real estate portfolio in Detroit that specialized in short-term rentals and quickly became one of the largest Airbnb hosts in the city. His passion for real estate, technology, and background of raising capital led him to start MINO Lending Solutions. Mr. Thorsby attended Central Michigan University obtaining a B.A.A. in Entrepreneurship and received a full ride scholarship to graduate school as an assistantship with the Dean of the College of Business, where he earned his MBA, specializing in management consulting. He lives in Bloomfield Hills, MI with his wife and twin boys.

  • Chad Skop


    Chad Skop is Managing Director of Megladon Capital, LLC, a boutique real estate investment and private equity firm. Through Megladon Capital, Chad has invested in nearly every real estate investment avenue from turnkey rentals, fix n flip, fix n hold, short-term rentals, and multi-family real estate syndication. For almost ten years, Chad was at the nation’s leading mortgage lender in various roles from underwriter to Team Leader, running various underwriting teams ranging in size from 10 – 65 underwriters covering Agency, FHA, Jumbo, VA, and USDA products. Most recently, he managed the rollout of the USDA product, working directly with capital markets as well as USDA national and field offices to develop guidelines and processes. He also spent extensive time working directly with technology partners to develop or enhance programs that ensured quality and efficient underwriting practices. Chad's interest in real estate and investment comes from his passion for improvement and creating change. MINO Lending Solutions was the perfect opportunity to do both. Mr. Skop went to Central Michigan University, obtaining B.A.A in Entrepreneurship and following that up with an MBA specializing in Management Consulting. He holds his Direct Endorsement with the FHA. Mr. Skop currently resides in Detroit, MI.

  • Rob Barnowsky

    Director of Operations

    Rob Barnowsky is a forward-thinking Operations Leader with a performance record of devising innovative solutions in the financial services, mortgage operations, and manufacturing sectors. He has spent the last 7 years in the mortgage business with two of the nation’s leading lenders on both the sales and operational side. Most recently he comes to us as a leader of various underwriting teams specializing in high profile clients. His roots are in marketing, but he’s established himself as a mortgage industry expert with the ability to establish high value client account relationships. He has a B.B.A in Business Management specializing in Marketing from Baker College. He lives in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI with his wife and four fur children.

  • Cedar Neeley

    Commercial Financing Manager

    Cedar Neeley spent over six years with the nation’s top mortgage lender working as both a Loan Officer and Account Executive. In that time, he closed over 1,000 loans and helped independent brokers streamline their business. Cedar is passionate about commercial lending and helping investors grow their portfolios. He has a B.B.A. in Marketing from Northwood University and two A.A. degrees from Lansing Community College in Finance and Entrepreneurial Business. Cedar lives in Canton, MI with his wife and two kids.

    Chris Rodela has spent the last 8 years in financial services as an Insurance Producer, Executive Loan Officer, Operations, and now a Commercial Finance Manager. Throughout Chris’s career, he has remained committed to providing exceptional service and delivering value to all stakeholders, whether that be clients, colleagues, or partners. He takes pride in his ability to think strategically, analyze your goals and the market, and communicate clearly. Chris lives in Brighton, MI with his Wife.

  • Mike Marsico

    Commercial Financing Manager

    Mike is a solution focused relationship manager with 15 years of experience the financial industry. He spent the majority of his professional career at Comerica Bank where he consistently set himself apart from his peers. The offices Mike managed were regularly among the top 25 branches in the company from a production standpoint. He credits this to his management style and “consultant” approach with clients. Mike’s branches were known for treating their client base like family, always having their best interest in mind. He joined the MINO team as the next step forward in his professional journey, by working with real estate investors to grow their portfolio. Mike cut his professional teeth in brick-and-mortar retail banking with Comerica while cultivating his skill-set in relationship management. He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from Western Michigan University. He is an avid cyclist (mostly on his Peloton). He grew up and now lives in Canton, MI with his wife of 10 years, his two kids Molly and Jack, and their dog Lenny.

  • Alex Varney

    Commercial Financing Manager

    Alex has spent the last 5 years at the nation’s two top mortgage lenders; both as a Loan Officer and Underwriter. This unique experience gives him the insight of both the “front” and “back of the house” lending processes. His focus is on helping new and seasoned investors build their portfolios to achieve their personal and professional goals. Alex received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan. He currently resides in Saint Clair Shores, MI.
